Why another photo organizer?

Most solutions are bloated and packed with too many features.
They offer complex databases, own image viewer and often editor.
I think I can use another GUI viewer on top of standard directory structure.
I only offer image files management and image preservation tips.

It seems to do nothing

No flags are enabled by default. You must add -r or --recursive flag
to actually index directory recursively.

Errors with external disk!

Most (possibly all) disks come preformatted FAT/ExFat or NTFS.
These file systems do not support symbolic links and file attributes and will not work,
but these features are essential to this project.
You can avoid errors by using only non-interactive mode, however consider to change
the file system, see tips for details.

RAW photos

I do not recommend raw file formats, as they are suspected to poor support
in the future, require long toolchains and complicate metadata management.
If you already have a number of raw photos, convert them to dng and save as tar archive.

Actually, you can store them using this set of programs if add to recognized formats.
It is then strongly recommended to set up another project clone and library directory for them.

Image is not valid!

My cheapest camera produces images which result an error
in attempt to display in terminal. That's a chafa library
or perhaps camera issue. Use non-interactive upload.
I don't know exactly the source of issue.

Any kind of AI is beyond the scope?
